One Place to Start Over

If any bitterness, any sore, any wound, any resentment from whatever cause, then there is one place to come and start over again. That is the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. There our Lord Jesus was humiliated and cursed in our place. There our Lord Jesus obeyed the Father unto death, embracing shame and guilt in our place. There a new life blossoms and overflows endlessly, so we can obey the Lord's commandment of loving one another without any bitterness and complaint.

"By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35 NKJV

In Christ Jesus, a whole new relationship has begun under the new terms that we're no longer the sons of darkness but the sons of light. We're no longer under the law, but under grace. The Spirit of Christ Jesus indwells within us, which is a staggering truth and revelation that we have what it takes to live the life which God intended us to live before the creation of the world. There is a way out provided to all believers that we don't have to give in to evil anymore, because we're of God and He has made his home [residence] in our hearts [spirits].

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." John 14:35 NKJV

This is how we handle differences among brothers and sisters in Christ. We're sanctified [made whole] by the Spirit for every good work of God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. We're called to manifest Him and His works in the midst of struggles and troubles of normal lives. Remember the Spirit-filled living starts where Jesus Christ died in our place, the cross of Calvary.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain." John 12:24 NKJV
