A Revolutionary Change

"We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. 1 John 5:18-21 NKJV
The long hidden mystery of God for ages and generations has been disclosed. It's "Christ in you, the hope of glory." Billy Graham said, "Christian conversion is like a revolution." It's indeed revolutionary. Those who are born of God have Christ Jesus within by means of the Spirit. Apostle John's dogmatic statement starts with "We know." Know what? We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, because Christ Jesus keeps himself and the wicked one the devil does not touch him. Those who are genuinely born of God cannot go on sinning. That's right. They cannot keep on sinning like keep on stealing if they are genuinely born of God. Instead, there shall be changes and transformations manifest because a great urge and desire arises in them to be like Him. That's the mark of born of God.
Also, those who are born of God have eternal life, Jesus Christ, the true God. John admonishes little children [Christians] to keep themselves from idols. It means to worship God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ only. Anything they rely other than Christ Jesus is idol including all the religious activities done without recognizing Christ Jesus the Lord in their midst. All our deeds will be tested by fire on the Day of the Lord. “Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.” (1 Corinthians 3:12-13 NKJV)
