Jesus Christ will complete it because He has begun a good work in you and
me. What a hope it is in the midst of struggles and difficulties! That kind of
hope we have in Him. So, be thankful in all circumstances and pray unceasingly
just as our Lord Jesus Christ did while walking on the streets and villages in
the land of Palestine two thousand years ago. We do not yet see the whole
picture of what we shall be, but believe in Him that He would complete it. In
the midst of all things in our lives, Christ Jesus is in command and control. He
is the commander in chief of all the believers of the gospel. Therefore, we do
not lose heart but have confidence and boldness in the hope of being revealed
at His appearance.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is
perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction,
which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal
weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the
things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the
things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NKJV)
Isn't it encouraging at all? Our light and momentary affliction is
working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. We do not look
at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
