We are not the final voice even the man called John the Baptizer who is greater than anyone among those born of women. Jesus is the final voice in heaven and on earth. He was a voice sent by God in the wilderness. Wilderness represents the human heart. He was not the Light but a light bearer who was burned to shine the light of the God of the Lord Jesus Christ. Are we burning?
He said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,” ’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” (John 1:23 NKJV)
"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
